- All production and packaging equipment and utensils are properly cleaned prior to the start of production.
- Additional supervision is put in place, and written tracking of all individuals who handle each batch of product is kept on file.
- Ingredient selection and content evaluation ensures that all gluten-free recipes are only made with ingredients that meet the criteria for gluten-free claims.
- Only unopened bags of raw materials are used for each gluten-free production.
- Production scheduling is done in such a way as to minimize the risk of cross-contamination.
